Steps lead to the front door which opens into the living and dining area, with a door leading to the conservatory straight ahead. There is one en-suite bedroom to the right, whilst the door to the left leads to the bathroom, kitchen and another bedroom.

The living room has beamed ceilings and an open fire (a starter basket of logs is provided) with two armchairs and a sofa to snuggle up and get cosy on. Perfect to return to after a busy day exploring the area. It has a TV and DVD player, so you can enjoy relaxing evenings watching a movie together. Or maybe you’ll sit and plan your next day of adventures over a warming cuppa or with your favourite tipple in hand.

The characterful dining area is separated by part of the traditional stable, with original exposed stone walls. It has a dining table and chairs to comfortably seat four people.

There is a conservatory that is accessed via the living room. With comfortable seating this additional living space is bright and warm all year round. It’s a lovely space to sit and read for a while.

The lounge leads through to the inner hall where there is a utility area with a washing machine and a door that leads to the family bathroom.

Through the inner hall is the well-equipped kitchen with beamed ceilings. It has all the cutlery, crockery, glassware, pots, pans and utensils you’ll need during your stay. There is an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, kettle and toaster as well as a fridge freezer and dishwasher. Plus there’s a kitchen table and a door that leads outside from here.

There are two bedrooms at Coachman’s Cottage. The double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and is accessed via the living and dining room. With a large chest of drawers and wardrobe, there is lots of space to unpack and make yourself at home. The en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower, wash basin and WC.

The twin bedroom is down a few steps from the inner hall. Featuring beamed ceiling, this spacious bedroom also has plenty of drawer space and a wardrobe. There’s a TV in here too. So if one of your party wants some alone time to catch up on their favourite show, they can.

All of the bedding and towels are provided.

The family bathroom leads off from the inner hall. It has a bath with shower over as well as a sink and WC.

Coachman’s Cottage is set around a courtyard where there is an outdoor table and chairs (n.b. the courtyard is not enclosed).  However it also has a smaller enclosed garden with seating and a BBQ. So you can step out of the kitchen into the morning sunshine and enjoy a nice hot cuppa in the peaceful surroundings. There are lots of birds and wildlife to see here too. It’s a Twitchers paradise.

There is ample private parking in the courtyard.
