Living areas
Two steps lead to the entrance hall with the living room to your left, the family bathroom in front and two bedrooms to the right.
The spacious living room has a sofa and two armchairs to snuggle up on in front of the cosy wood burner. (A starter pack of wood, kindling and fire-lighters are provided). Here you can simply relax and gaze out at the glorious views or maybe later watch a movie on the TV (there’s a DVD player as well). There is dining table is in this room too, with plenty of space for everyone to sit and eat together or maybe play a game. A place to share laughter and make plans for your next day of adventures.
The living room leads on to the well-equipped kitchen where there is also a kitchen table. You’ll find all the pots, pans, utensils, cutlery, crockery and glassware you’ll need. As well as the electric oven and gas hob, there’s a microwave, fridge freezer, kettle and toaster. There’s also a dishwasher. Although you may spend time standing at the sink anyway, looking through the kitchen window. Lots of guests watch the deer in the field from here.
There’s a separate utility room with a washing machine, and a washing line outside.
With central heating and double glazing throughout, you’ll be warm and toasty all year round.
Bedrooms & bathroom
Chapelton Farm Cottage No. 1 has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. In the double room there is a chest of drawers table and wardrobe, providing plenty of storage to unpack and get settled in. It also has an armchair creating a cosy nook by the window to sit and read. There’s also a wardrobe and chest of drawers in the twin room. Both bedrooms are light and decorated in neutral colours to provide a calming space to retreat to. All bedding and towels are provided.
The family bathroom has a walk-in shower along with a sink and wc.
Outside & Parking
Chapelton Farm Cottage No. 1 has a large enclosed garden along with outdoor garden furniture and a BBQ. So you can sit and enjoy the views during the day and then wonder at the dark skies at night. On a clear day you can see the Isle of Man. Plus it really is a twitchers paradise here, lots of guests enjoy watching the birds throughout their stay. If you’re really lucky you might just spot an elusive red squirrel too.
Young children (and dogs) also enjoy having a safe space to run around and play outside in the fresh air.
There is ample private parking.
